What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process and bill Medicare, Medicaid, private payer, and patient claims, adhering to payer requirements and organizational policies
- Maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable records
- Notify management regarding any late or missing documents needed for billing
- Monitor accounts for receivables collection and resubmit bills to overdue accounts
- Undertake additional projects related to billing and company operations as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in home health care systems
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare billing, preferably in home health care billing
- Up-to-date knowledge of PDGM and NOA billing requirements for Medicare
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two (2) years of college education preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Foxit or Adobe PDF
- Knowledge of insurance portals (i.e., Epic, Waystar, Availity, eServices)
- Familiarity with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR system
- Good working knowledge of various insurance and non-insurance plans
- Initiative-taking and effective problem-solving skills
