      About the Role:
      An exciting opportunity has arisen in our EMEA Finance team for a Billing Specialist. Working in a small team within the EMEA region of Compass Lexecon this role will support the organisations billing needs. This role is ideally suited to someone who is fully conversant in WIP and Billing, who possesses excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. The role is part of the central EMEA Finance team but is based in the heart of the business in our London office, working alongside client facing experts.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Review client project setup to ensure accuracy for Billing – review of billing rates, client address details, discounts, VAT implications
      • Finalisation of client invoices in FTI Billing system (Elite) including review and finalization with project expert
      • Liaison with CL and EMEA Billing Supervisors to ensure timely completion of all client invoicing on a monthly basis
      • Perform write offs, rate changes, narrative amendments, credit notes where applicable
      • Adherence to CL internal controls regarding AR and client invoicing
      • E-Billing - Onboarding and Upload Bills to the clients E-Billing Platforms
      • Coordinate and submit monthly budget accruals to the clients
      • Updating all TK rates as per the yearly range changes. (e.g., post promotion updates etc.)
      • Sub-Contractor Timesheet Uploads
      • Creation of New Task Codes
      • Running WIP and Cost Reports on Ad-Hoc Basis
      • Raising Draft Bills, Narrative Amendments, Amending Fees/Costs/Rates, Finalising Invoices
      • Adding New Hire Rates
      • Other Ad Hoc Projects

      Qualifications and Experience:

      • Professional approach to reminding internal clients to convert WIP to AR timely
      • Experience of client invoicing ideally with billable rates in a professional services environment
      • 5 years + previous EMEA level experience in a billing role in a professional service
      • Elite/Unit 4 experience desirable
      • Proficient in Word and Excel
