      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and interpret patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and benefits
      - Obtain claim status and work with payers to resolve claims for maximum reimbursement
      - Communicate effectively with other departments and patients regarding billing issues
      - File corrected claims and compose appeal letters as necessary
      - Monitor denial trends and report issues to the supervisor

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Minimum of medical billing experience required
      - Ability to work independently and make sound judgments based on financial policies
      - Knowledge of basic billing and coding principles in a live environment
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient account status

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Dental billing experience preferred
      - AAPC certification is a plus
      - Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
      - Community Health Center or FQHC experience helpful
      - FQHC certification is a plus, but not required
