      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and interpret patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and benefits
      - Obtain claim status by accessing payer resources and work with payers to resolve claims
      - Communicate effectively with other departments and patients
      - File corrected claims and submit appeal letters as necessary
      - Monitor denial trends and report issues to the supervisor

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Medical billing experience required
      - Knowledge of basic billing/coding principles and ability to apply that knowledge in a live environment
      - Ability to work independently and effectively both in the office and remotely
      - Strong attention to detail in all aspects of daily work

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Dental billing experience preferred
      - AAPC certification is a plus
      - Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
      - Community Health Center or FQHC experience helpful
      - FQHC certification is a plus, but not required
