What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide efficient account receivable services to maximize reimbursements for member clients
- Accurately bill Medicare, Medicaid, self-pay/uninsured, and commercial insurance claims
- Assist with collection efforts by monitoring accounts and resubmitting claims as necessary
- Maintain complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, payers, and team members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in a similar or relevant role, with 2 years of applicable experience desired
- High school diploma or GED is required; some higher education is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing processes
- Experience with EPIC is preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or Rural Health Clinics (RHC)
- Familiarity with legal requirements related to billing and reimbursement processes
- Strong understanding of collection processes and strategies
