What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and manage data processes, including backend management and API-driven workflows
- Assist in the testing and development of software tools and workflows produced in the lab
- Maintain and update portals and knowledge bases for research projects
- Coordinate meetings and assist in drafting research reports, proposals, and presentations
- Conduct biocuration of biological data, including glycans, proteins, and genes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2 years of professional experience
- Basic understanding of biology and biological databases
- Experience in programming/scripting and database management
- Familiarity with bioinformatics platforms and data modeling
- Strong communication skills and ability to document research findings

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in chemistry or analytical chemistry
- Experience with Python, Linux, MongoDB, HTML/CSS, and Javascript
- Knowledge of developing API web services and backend development
- Familiarity with biomolecules, including biomarkers, glycans, genes, and proteins
