What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain data and processed datasets, testing API-driven workflows
- Assist in the testing and development of software, tools, and workflows in the lab
- Contribute to the biocuration of biological data, including glycans, proteins, and genes
- Write specification documentation for research projects and create web interfaces
- Coordinate meetings and assist in drafting research reports and proposals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong background in genomic data analysis and biocuration
- Familiarity with programming/scripting and database management (Python, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of biological databases and bioinformatics platforms/tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with web frameworks and front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with developing API web services and backend development
- Understanding of database structures and data dictionaries
