The Department also provides key Hospital personnel with advice on the optimum usage, purchasing and replacement of medical equipment POSITION SUMMARY An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified biomedical engineer to join the Biomedical Engineering team at Alfred Health for a short-term appointment. Duties include service and maintenance of specialised equipment. Salary will be in accordance with the relevant award. We are seeking a motivated and conscientious person, capable of fitting in quickly to a progressive and professional team. Applicants must have a relevant engineering qualification; a good understanding of engineering principles; appropriate experience; well developed organisational skills; good written and verbal communication skills.
