As a Biomedical Scientist at our Leeds Hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and recent laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

• Deliver high-quality pathology services

• Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service

• Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control

• Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables

• Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures

• Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). We are close to the city centre and central railway station.
