What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the addition of assays to drive reagent growth on automation platforms within assigned territory
- Provide technical presentations and consultations on product technology and workflows
- Assist customers through the instrument validation process to ensure timely go-live
- Serve as a primary contact for technical support and troubleshooting in the field
- Prepare and manage territory business plans, forecasts, and sales reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Blood Banking experience required
- Prior clinical laboratory and/or field technical experience required
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) MT/MLS or (NCA) CLS certification, required
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting employment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Specialist in Blood Bank (SBB) preferred
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a background in training or education
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a technical environment
