What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Model and train staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Conduct behavior plan assessments, designs, training, monitoring, and reporting
- Provide direct behavioral treatment to clients, including skills training and crisis de-escalation
- Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce its necessity
- Participate in relevant committees, such as the Behavior Intervention Committee and Human Rights Committee
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
- Ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively
- Strong reasoning ability to apply common sense in problem-solving
- Ability to meet physical demands and demonstrate knowledge of crisis management procedures

- Experience in providing behavioral treatment and conducting behavioral assessments
- Familiarity with Positive Behavior Support methodology
- Prior experience working with clients with cognitive, developmental, or intellectual disabilities
