We are looking for a Bookkeeper with experience in US accounting and bookkeeping to support our client in the United States. This role involves managing financial records, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with US accounting standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping, familiarity with US tax laws, and proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero.

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor invoices.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in US tax compliance, including sales tax filings, 1099 forms, and other IRS requirements .
• Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( GAAP ).
• Support audits and financial reviews as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on US accounting .
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other US accounting software .
• Knowledge of US tax regulations, GAAP, and IRS compliance .
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment.
• Amenable to working in the US time zone. (Permanent night shift)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with US payroll processing and tax filings (e.g., W-9, 1099, and sales tax reporting ).
• Background in working with US-based clients or companies.
• Familiarity with international accounting practices .
