What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary contact between the finance office and university budget managers
- Prepare financial reports and analyses, including budget reconciliations and projections
- Manage the preparation and submission of journal entries and budget adjustments
- Oversee purchase card administration and manage purchase orders
- Monitor budgets, confirm accurate vendor billing, and suggest operational improvements for efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, business, or a related field
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in budget management
- Strong knowledge of accounting and budgeting functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and ability to leverage technology
