What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage revenue and expenses for over 70 diverse grants and contracts
- Develop program and grant budgets in collaboration with the development team and program management
- Serve as a liaison between finance, funders, and program staff to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Monitor budget allocations, expense tracking, and related financial activities for accuracy and adherence to fiscal practices
- Identify and implement streamlined processes to improve financial operations and efficiencies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in budgeting and financial management of government grants and contracts in a nonprofit setting
- BA or BS in accounting, finance, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; familiarity with nonprofit accounting software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of SAGE Intacct and Rippling or similar accounting and HR systems
- Experience in the criminal justice field or human services
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a team environment
