What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate systems that align with overall business strategies
- Assist in developing and implementing standardized documentation of business and technical metadata for agency data
- Communicate effectively with public health program staff and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals
- Monitor and report on program engagement and progress towards a fully documented metadata library
- Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit and ROI assessments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data governance or data management, or a related area as a business analyst
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working directly with program/business staff to implement technical solutions
- Minimum of 4 years of experience preparing verbal and written communications for non-technical staff
- Minimum of 4 years of experience guiding stakeholders in managing change related to technology and business processes
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with cross-functional teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of experience documenting business and technical metadata
- 2 years of experience with Informatica data governance tools (Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, and/or Informatica Data Quality)
- 2 years of experience working with public health program areas or data assets
