This position offers an optional hybrid work schedule, working three days in our South Sioux City, Nebraska office and two days working from home.

Great West Casualty Company is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Project Office team. As a Business Analyst, you will analyze current systems and processes and collaborate with others to create project solutions that strategically drive our company forward.

In this role as a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define business needs, and ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise will help align technology, processes, and strategy to achieve our business objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications to support innovative recommendations.
• Develop and present data-driven insights, forecasts, and recommendations to drive decision-making.
• Assist with the quality assurance process and update instruction manuals as needed.
• Support project management activities, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with development and technical teams to implement solutions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in MIS.
• Previous experience in a Business Analyst role is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with business research, including data gathering, analysis, surveying, and report writing preferred.
