      About the Role

      As a Business Analyst in the Document Exchange Initiative, you will be a key member of the team to deliver on our mission to improve the end-to-end Business Lending ecosystem by refining processes, implementing new features into our existing platform, and strengthening the risk management framework and infrastructure. You will be responsible for working with our customers and project stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the business organisational context, complete business analysis activities, and ultimately elicit, document and manage the requirements throughout the project life cycle end to end, using Agile methods to deliver optimised solutions that improve the customer and banker experience to the ANZ Commercial business.

      What will your day look like?

      As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for:

      • Documenting detailed business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, operational teams, Technology partners and change teams to understand the and-to-end initiative and translate business requirements into workable, testable technology outcomes.

      • Transforming requirements into stories, acceptance criteria, system design etc. – including analysis of existing services, performing field level analysis, defining intra-system mapping and transformation rules and interface specifications.

      • Documenting system dependencies, information flow, requirements and constraints.

      • Documenting, executing and governance of testing including UAT, BVT, systems and SIT testing; previous exposure to writing and executing test automation will be highly regarded.

      • Supporting change and implementation activities to ensure all impacted teams and roles are trained, equipped and ready to absorb and manage the change, verify and validate what is in production.

      • Supporting operational and feature readiness; liaise with the vendor to provide ongoing support for the platform as required e.g. problem / incident management

      • Ability to synthesise and Root Cause Analysis log and event information from multiple sources into risk analysis, Incident Management process and test reporting, maintaining traceability.

      • Leveraging tools for optimal collaboration and knowledge sharing (Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint etc.).

      • Coordinating with cross-functional teams from Business, IT and third-party providers ensuring that changes being introduced into live environment are tested efficiently.

      • Identifying and managing risks associated with testing to ensure that impacts are mitigated and do not influence delivery.

      What will you bring?

      To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

      • Ability to help define and govern the approach to requirements gathering, eliciting business and solution requirements to translate customer needs & business goals into technical specifications, verifying, validating and communicating requirements/business analysis outcomes with stakeholders.

      • Ability to draft Test Strategy, Acceptance Criteria and User Stories, and contribute to team estimating.

      • Functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Software Development, Technical Business or Solution Analysis, and especially Test Management and Execution, with expertise on testing methodologies, automation, scripting and testing practices.

      • Strong stakeholder management skills, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

      • Display initiative with a demonstrated ability to manage time & priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment, with an ability to effectively prioritise multiple deliverables and determine the best sequencing to maximise outcomes.

      • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do whilst optimising customer journeys and experiences.

      • Conversant with Information security principles and controls, and understanding of document services technology platforms will be a bonus.
