What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Elicit and document business requirements through various techniques such as interviews, surveys, and workshops
- Write clear and concise business requirements specifications and translate them into functional specifications for developers
- Lead requirements analysis and verification to ensure completeness and clarity of requirement statements
- Manage changes to requirements and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide knowledge transfer and assist product management in product planning through requirements development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, including implementation of business process management solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Information Services or related field
- Three (3) years of experience applying Agile methodology in a project environment
- Two (2) consulting or contractor engagements lasting more than six (6) months in a Business Analyst role
- Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Business Analyst Certification (IIBA certification or equivalent)
- Lead Business Analyst experience
- Experience in the pension services industry at the State or Federal level
