What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team
- Support the implementation of fixed income front office systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-10 years of experience in a business analyst role within the financial services industry, focusing on fixed income asset management
- Strong understanding of fixed income products, including bonds, derivatives, and related instruments
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with portfolio management systems (e.g., Aladdin or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with data management tools and reporting systems in an asset management context
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting fixed income asset management
- CFA, FRM, or related certifications
