      About the Role

      You'll bring to the table strong analytical thinking, operational prowess, and interpersonal ability to maintain relationships. The team will look to you as a specialist in our operations, with a high level of data proficiency, someone comfortable making quick data-driven decisions to provide direction to our team.

      What You'll Do

      • Carrier Support. Utilize internal data to understand the carrier support experience and highlight areas for improvement. Leverage data to tell a clear story about the carrier experience across a variety of support modalities.
      • Network Analytics. Utilize geospatial data from Uber Freight’s carrier network to understand carrier behavior and regional areas for improvement. Leverage location data by applying data science techniques and
      • Develop & Optimize Processes. Take big picture ideas and projects and break them into impactful steps with clear timelines for completion. Use python scripts to automate processes that drive impactful operational results.
      • Product Improvement. Pro-actively search for bugs and help pilot new features which could improve a flawless carrier and shipper experience Stakeholder Management. Manage business stakeholders to seek operational problems and build solutions
      • Take ownership of Uber Freight's growth and go above and beyond to get the job done

      Basic Qualifications

      • At least 2+ years of working professionally with SQL
      • Bachelors and/or Master’s degree
      • Experience in a data-driven role
      • Excel proficiency
      • Experience building dashboards (GoogleStudio, Tableau, etc)

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Must be based in Chicago and open to a hybrid role
      • Experience leading initiatives and projects at your organization
      • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate significant insights
      • Experience with programming languages such as R and/or Python
      • Experience with ZenDesk
