- Provides data analysis critical to commercial and manufacturing decisions
- Leads the annual budget and strategy process, creating all materials required for approvals
- Owns Power BI reporting platform for all aspects of the organization
- Coordinates and publishes weekly reporting
- Assists with monthly and quarterly financial commentary
- Manages agendas for Performance Pipe Leadership Team meetings and monthly townhall meetings
- Assists with project economic calculations and validations
- Manages PBD initiative value tracking and validation for the organization
- Assignment of ad hawk requests from General Manager and Performance Pipe Leadership team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or other Business discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated qualities of being a team player and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- MBA
- 5 years or more of related experience in an industrial business with B2B commercial relationships
- Previous experience in business valuation and/or M&A activity
- SAP Experience
- Work experience in manufacturing and/or technical support with financial and decision support analysis

Purpose/Introduction
The Commercial Organization plays a key role in developing and executing CPChem’s strategy and business plans. Commercial coordinates with Manufacturing and Technology to develop optimal sales and operating plans, grow our asset capabilities and plan for the future. They identify and evaluate business opportunities, execute the supply chain, build customer and supplier relationships and work to continuously improve our offerings to provide increased value for our customers and shareholders.
Performance Pipe, a Division of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, a multi-plant manufacturer of polyethylene pipe and fittings throughout the U.S., is seeking a Business Analyst to be located in our Plano, Texas office. Performance Pipe Business Analyst position reports to the Performance Pipe General Manager and is responsible for a variety of planning and reporting tasks for the Performance Pipe organization. High level responsibilities include providing analysis of business performance, industry performance data, and projects for Performance Pipe leadership. The business analyst is a member of the Performance Pipe Leadership Team that directs business strategy and execution.
