What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Work closely with Project Owner to conduct project interviews with key stakeholders.
- Build out acceptance criteria and backlog to help dev team understand scope and ensure business objectives are met.
- Helps build project plans, adheres to established business project timelines, work plans, and any necessary project documentation.
- Translates between the business and IT by gathering business needs, writes detailed business requirements such as epics, features and user stories.
- Ensures requirements are in order and ready for sprint planning. Guides and answers questions during backlog grooming.
- Perform QA or UAT tasks when needed.
- Maintain the quality of all project documents/data to ensure project integrity.
- Monitor project progress and quality.
- Collect necessary data and information to effectively build out requirements facilitate project decisions to make informed decisions.
- Effectively communicates any items that may impact established timelines or project deliverables to the PO.
- Identify opportunities, address gaps, and implement tactics to deliver desired results.
- Identify and escalate obstacles to project success.
- Display excellent (written and verbal) communication and partnership skills.
- Facilitate project meetings with project team and stakeholders as needed; serve as note-taker if needed.
- Effectively and immediately communicate to Project Owner any items that could potentially impact project timelines or outcome.
- Active participation in all meetings with the project team to ensure project goals and timelines are achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with Project Owners and SMEs.
- Key communication and encourages active participation and collaboration among all.
- Coordinate project plans with external vendors.
- Serve in the capacity of other project team employees as needed.

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Required: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training that provides the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, or User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience participating in cross-functional projects.
- Experience with agile project management.
- Experience in the Auto Insurance industry, particularly Personal Auto Preferred.
- Proficiency in using Project Management software like Asana, Wrike, MS Project, or similar Preferred.
- Lead and manage multiple projects and work streams with competing demands.
- Troubleshoot and escalate project issues, risks, and mitigation appropriately.
- Leverage critical thinking, problem-solving, and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and objectives.
- Focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view.
- Effectively cope with stressful situations, changing priorities, aggressive timelines.
- Adapt to rapidly changing business environment and business needs.
- Strong business and mental acuity with excellent process orientation and critical thinking skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
