Business Analyst/Tester - Salesforce

Redan LLC is looking for a Business Analyst/Tester - Salesforce to be part of a growing team in the federal sector.

As the Business Analyst/Tester - Salesforce, you will guide businesses to improve business processes and efficiency in Salesforce and elicit, document, and analyze requirements around business challenges, and then produce data-driven solutions. The Salesforce Business Analyst should be able to communicate between IT and business stakeholders to ensure all involved work together to attain the best results. This integral role requires actively working with all parts of the delivery team and is customer-facing.

The ideal person for this Tester role must be methodical and results-driven and be able to identify and apply test procedures to ensure product quality. They will assess the functionality and feasibility of software applications to ensure that any flaws in the system are identified and addressed in the software development lifecycle. They will detect and solve problems and have an eagle-eye for detail and the ability to see the overall picture. They will also have adept knowledge of software development, superb analytical skills, and the ability to foresee technical problems.

Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels and be adaptive to the organization's changing needs.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Business Analyst/Tester - Salesforce at Redan, you will:

• Assess use cases, processes, flows, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria

• Define the appropriate test cases and test scripts, including the test data to be used.

• Manage the test data by documenting the results of each test cycle to identify flaws.

• Liaise with the software development team, including the scrum master, developers, analysts, other testers, etc.

• Execute functional and non-functional testing, including positive/negative tests, manual tests, exploratory tests, and regression tests, and document and communicate the results to fellow team members.

• Interact with and coordinate the development and validation team and ensure that effective communication takes place.

• Identify and eliminate redundant functions and components.

• Improve knowledge of business applications and user needs and expectations.

• Understand and implement industry standards, protocols, and testing tools and keep up to date on Salesforce technologies.

• Actively support planning and estimation activities.

• Actively support break/fix/enhancement, defect triage, and root cause analysis.

• Actively support documentation activities (e.g. work products, artifacts, and deliverables).

Profile of Success

Required

• 3 years' experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Business Analyst.

• Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification (PL-900 or higher).

• Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location.
