Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Support the strategic data sourcing process to generate accurate risk calculations for efficient capital and liquidity management. Support processes of documenting, monitoring, prioritizing and progressing risk initiatives. Analyze data feeding into Risk calculators and strategize data sourcing from golden source systems authorized by regulators. Analyze and report credit risk exposures covering a range of financial products and apply global risk management policies. Investigate and remediate data quality issues to safeguard Credit Risk exposures across financial products including Exchange Traded Derivatives, Over the Counter Derivatives, Secured Funding Tractions. Monitor counterparty credit ratings, associated collateral, and mitigate potential losses if a counterparty defaults. Monitor credit risk limits and escalate any breach of the risk tolerance threshold. Coordinate to articulate detailed aspects for end-to-end project delivery. Offer technical solutions to develop complex analytical processes to resolve system implementation issues supported by a clear documentation process. Understand and improve existing processes, data flows, controls, and coordinate with stakeholders. Ensure transparency around data quality. Analyze the impact to risk metrics of identified data quality shortfalls to inform priority assessment and appraisals. Data quality issue escalation. Work on regulatory reports submitted to US regulators and meet regulatory deadlines. Communicate and get consensus on key business decisions. Analyze stressed and unstressed Credit Risk exposures for counterparties in business with Citibank and report analysis to management and regulators. Create Business and Functional requirement specifications explaining data flows and interconnections between multiple Risk systems. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering (any) or related field and 3 years of experience as an Authorized Officer, Senior Analyst, Associate or related position involving regulatory reporting and data sourcing for the financial services industry. 3 years of experience must include: Sourcing data from strategic source systems to improve regulatory reports; Working on regulatory reports submitted to US regulators; Regulatory requirements applicable to Counterparty Credit Risk.
