- Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards

Business Control Manager is responsible for managing both the EIT relationship and testing portfolios for Preferred Banking and Consumer Investments. Additionally, this role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with Control Owners, Enterprise Independent Testing and FLU leaders to ensure the testing needs of the FLU are met and within enterprise standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive adoption of EIT strategic initiatives (i.e., Bring to Standard, Nonperforming Commentary, etc.) by ensuring that test owners are aware of the changes and how it will impact testing.
• Develop a partnership with EIT to ensure testing needs of the FLU are met.
• Partner with Control\Test Owner to ensure requests for testing support control needs and are within EIT guardrails
• Collaborate with EIT to resolve testing issues and bridge the needs of FLU vs EIT capabilities (short term and long)
• Drive quarterly planning/prioritization process with FLU test owners to determine and plan for future testing needs
• Manage testing intake process for all test updates, new builds and retirements/holds
• Manage FLU QA Governance routine for new test builds and material test updates
Required Qualifications:
• 5 years of risk management and/or Line of Business, Compliance or Control experience
• Prior experience leading, coordinating projects/programs and working on cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Established record of communicating, interacting and influencing senior level executives
• Proven influence and partnering skills
• Detail oriented, self-starter, and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Effective time-management skills
• Ability to multitask, work with short deadlines and perform well under pressure
Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Enterprise Independent Testing policies and processes
• Knowledge of Single Process Inventory, Process Owner Portal
• Strong foundational knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications
Enterprise Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones.Responsibilities:
