      As the Business Development Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the I2M process for the factory, overseeing new product development, design changes, and productivity projects. Additionally, you'll lead the project engineering team, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, engineering standards, and legal requirements. Acting as a crucial interface with Commercial units, R&D, and PCM, you'll drive effective communication processes and spearhead the BDE team's development.

      Responsibilities:

      • Engage with PCMs and other BU representatives to facilitate cooperative change management.

      • Collaborate across categories within Chocolate to implement optimal business solutions for category-based opportunities.

      • Lead planning and factory implementation of projects, overseeing engineering, trials, materials delivery, and training coordination.

      • Support cross-functional team members to meet Engineering, NPD, and change project objectives.

      • Manage project agenda, forecast capital budgets, and ensure compliance with capital processes.

      • Ensure engineering projects adhere to legal and corporate standards, focusing on quality, health, and safety requirements.

      • Communicate project objectives, timelines, and accountabilities clearly, ensuring key milestones are met.

      • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, escalating risks appropriately and driving corrective actions.

      • Provide expertise on plant technical capability, influencing MEU sourcing strategies.

      • Contribute to site leadership team for strategy and long-range investment/business plans.

      • Collaborate with RD&Q/Commercial teams for new product development aligned with brand strategy.

      • Drive cost reduction through process optimization and waste minimization in NPD.

      What you’ll bring:

      • Familiarity with I2M and IIM processes preferred.

      • Extensive experience in manufacturing organizations and project implementation.

      • Leadership experience with large, complex projects and global technology standards/programs.

      • Proficiency in engineering standards, process requirements, and SAP.

      • Strong process management and ambiguity handling skills.

      • Demonstrated ability to develop direct reports and teams.

      • Prior experience in driving transformational change and exemplifying organizational values.

      • Degree-level education, preferably in engineering.

      This role seeks an individual adept at navigating complex manufacturing landscapes, driving projects from ideation to implementation while fostering collaboration and innovation within cross-functional teams. A strategic thinker with strong leadership and technical acumen will excel in this position.
