Job Description

- Cold calling and face to face meetings to build rapport with potential restaurant partners
- Proactively maintaining communication channels with restaurant decision makers via email, phone, and in person
- Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the restaurants critical needs
- Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
- Be the voice of the customer and share valuable feedback with our team
- Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Quandoo in the market
- Meet individual sales and activity KPIs
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless post-sale handover
- Resilience and the motivation to push through
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure
- Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of success preferred
- Up to date on the latest restaurant industry trends; knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
- 1-2 years+ sales or business development experience preferred
- This is a hybrid role so you can work from the office (based in Hawthorn East) and the comfort of your own home

As a Business Development Representative you are pivotal to the growth of the Quandoo brand. Your drive and passion for sales will be what helps you build relationships and acquire new restaurants to feature on the Quandoo marketplace.
For some venues Quandoo is about generating more bookings and filling empty seats via our marketplace and booking network. However, for others, it's about using a simplified reservation system to manage all their bookings which in turn, free’s up their time to get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love!
