      Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

      Job Description

      Cox Automotive is seeking a detailed-oriented and nimble Business Intelligence Analyst II to join the Marketing Analytics Team. This role offers exciting opportunities to support Consumer Solutions’ Marketing Teams and assist Analytics Managers on long-term projects that improve and enable our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

      • Understand business objectives and priorities
      • Turn quantitative analysis into an easy-to-understand story with recommendations and/or next steps
      • Gather requirements and build self-service analytics tools for easy-to-use insights by applying advanced analytics methodologies

      • Explore new tools and automation opportunities to improve the speed of delivery
      • Deepen marketing analytics knowledge and support the development of Google Analytics data sets
      • Build SQL queries that are purposeful, efficient, and reusable
      • Manage the flow of information including integrity, efficiency, and availability of data

      Key responsibilities include…

      • Providing proper analytics requirements and perform data validation UAT to ensure data capture will support downstream analyses needed to generate the types of insights useful for marketing and business decisions
      • Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making
      • Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results
      • Leading small projects from start to completion and supports components of larger projects with direct manager involvement
      • Developing narratives that explain data trends and next-step recommendations

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years experience in a related field with a focus on data analysis. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years experience; or 6 years experience in a related field with a focus on data analysis.
      • Demonstrated ability to proactively understand complex issues by asking insightful questions and seeking clarity to ensure accurate and effective solutions.
      • Familiarity with SQL query writing
      • Intermediate visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) development experience
      • Intermediate Google Analytics and foundational Google Marketing Platform skills
      • Strong understanding of basic marketing concepts that support effective marketing decisions
      • Be motivated to constantly improve and identify opportunities for efficiency
      • The ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring clear communication and alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
      • Proficiency with MS Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn new tools that may be valuable to the team
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • Excellent communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
      • Operate with ownership, be a self-starter, and have strong attention to detail.
      • Deadline driven ability to work with a sense of urgency

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Intermediate Snowflake and SQL code development skills
