What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Cognos Analytics and Microsoft Power BI
- Collaborate with OHSU leadership, partners, vendors, IT, and project managers to define requirements and document scope
- Conduct detailed technical analysis to ensure the accuracy of data in supported data warehouses and BI systems
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Assist in operational process improvement, software upgrades, and project go-lives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field, with four years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field, with six years of relevant experience; OR
- Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field, with seven years of relevant experience; OR
- Eight years of relevant experience in information technology or healthcare environments
- Minimum four years of paid work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or BI Developer
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing reports with a BI reporting tool
- Proven ability to read, write, and maintain SQL Code
- Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience in planning and managing small projects or serving a consultative role
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
