- Responsible for various processes and liaison with other units such as Human Resources, research support, financials, data management and communication.
- Directs customer service and support functions. Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans. May lead efforts to recruit new employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals. Manages quality assurance programs.
- Serves as liaison to other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
- Coordinates office operations, contract processing, travel, and purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with state, university, and department purchasing and travel policies and procedures for student organizations and fraternity and sorority life.
- Oversee the maintenance of electronic student organizations and fraternity and sorority life records using a variety of web-based platforms and/or database tools.
- Oversee the annual student organizations and fraternity and sorority life registration process and support for students seeking to create new organizations.
- Supervise the Customer Service Representative 2 for the Student Involvement and Leadership Center and provide front-line office support as needed.
- Serves as Department Recruitment Coordinator (DRC) for classified and professional searches
- Collaborate with departmental and divisional staff to identify necessary process improvements and develop solutions to routine problems.
- Coordinate and maintain meeting calendars for department, staff, and events.
- Draft routine communications on behalf of department or department leadership.
- Participate in various departmental, divisional, and university initiatives, events, and workgroups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
- A minimum of two years providing administrative support to all of the following: registered student organizations; fraternities and sororities; student government; alternative breaks; leadership programming; and student media.
- A minimum of two years as a high-level user of a student engagement platform (e.g. Engage, OrgSync, or similar).
- A minimum of two years reconciling multiple, high-volume Pcards.
- A minimum of two years providing travel support to students and staff, with significant experience arranging travel for large groups with complex travel needs.
- Evidence of broad participation in campus events, initiatives, and organizations.
- Evidence of a commitment to continued professional, academic, and personal learning and development.

Job Summary/Basic Function: This position manages day-to-day activities to ensure the department is running efficiently and meets the expectations and needs of customers and staff. Assists with the management/administrative aspects and has operational control of a range of projects. May work on assignments related to project development and management initiatives, internal operating procedures, business processes and policies.
