Job Description

• Leading the Business Area “Autonomous Robotics” with approximately 80 associates mainly located in the UK, Belgium and Portugal.
• Full intrapreneurial responsibility as part of the Outdoor and Garden Business Unit
• Development and Execution of vision, strategy and mission as well as championing Entrepreneurial Thinking to drive growth and profitability of the business segment
• Responsibility for the implementation of the Innovation Roadmap, successful launch of our 3rd generation product platform and generating market impacts to shape the future of Robotics.
• Ownership for and further scaling of already running business operations, i.e. Connectivity Infrastructure and DevOps, 2nd and 3rd level After Sales and Customer Support.
• Drive profitable growth with established and future OEM business (Private Label).
• Ensure continuous improvement in product quality, cost development as well as overall efficiency and organizational effectiveness
• General Management of an 100% Bosch subsidiary in Belgium (Basic rules Company).

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in leading international, cross-functional and distributed teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategical thinking and acting, strong analytical skills
• Successful track record as Engineering leader with experience in Software, Electronics and Systems Development. Knowledge of Project Management as well as IoT and Connected Systems are a strong plus.
• Additional job experience in non-technical functions like Strategy Development, General Management, Product / Portfolio Management or Commercial Operations are highly beneficial.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous and highly dynamic environments
• Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management across all organizational levels.
• English fluent written and spoken, German is an advantage
