Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
An associate degree in any field; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Software knowledge
Demonstrated ability to stay organized and be a self-starter
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with a variety of people
Experience working successfully with a team and independently, while managing your time efficiently
Experience utilizing a culturally competent lens to make sound judgements and identify successful solutions to problems
Maintain databases and tracking systems relating to the many business operational functions of the Child Welfare office.
Accurately enter information into various computer databases (i.e., OR-Kids).
Compile and provide all case materials as stated in court orders or requested by Caseworkers and/or Supervisors.
Process various forms according to policies, procedures, and sensitive timelines.
Use your stellar communication skills to clearly correspond with Caseworkers, Supervisors, other relevant staff, and customers.
Provide back-up for members of your Business Staff team.
Be part of a valued Business Staff team providing foundational administrative support to caseworkers, supervisors, community partners, vendors, and customers.

You may interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.
