As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in utilizing proprietary insurance-focused tools like backend "InsuredApp" and frontend "ClarionDoor Portal" to decompose customer rating models into algorithms, develop dynamic forms selection logic, and accurately map insured data for the generation of policy documents. Additionally, you will construct customer quoting portals, design XML and JSON-based web services, and build dynamically populated insurance documents while collaborating with the project team to meet customer requirements and deadlines. You will also be responsible for analyzing and addressing reported bugs during User Acceptance Testing, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What You Will Do:

• Transform business requirements into configured insurance rating, forms and policy issuance products using our toolset which utilizes technology frameworks such as Microsoft Excel, XML, XSLT, JSON, Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Unit test your configured products before releasing. This may involve using Postman to test web service changes.
• Support all phases of testing in the SDLC to ensure you are delivering the highest quality products.
• Support all documentation and data schema update tasks.
• Follow all determined workflows in JIRA for issue tracking and completion.
• Follow through on project assignments and keep stakeholders apprised of progress or any barriers to completion.
• Interface with Zywave clients as needed to obtain and understand business requirements, respond to questions/inquiries etc.

Factors for Success:

• College degree or equivalent experience in computer science or similar field
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with XML, JSON or XSLT is a plus
• You should have advanced skills in using web-based software applications
• Strong analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot complex issues and problem solve
• Self-starter can begin work and manage tasks to timelines on their own
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and communicate reasonable goals
• High technical acumen, familiarity with programming languages, databases or other development skills a plus
• Familiarity with Swagger, Postman or other online documentation and API testing tools a plus
• Preference to candidates with familiarity with U.S. Property and Casualty insurance industry, including its terminology, regulations, and processes. More specifically, experience and domain knowledge with products of insurance advisory organizations such as ISO and AAIS sought.
• Ability to interact in a collaborative development environment.
