- Collaborates with and advises executives within the organization acting as an internal expert regarding workforce optimization initiatives and principles.
- Leads operational excellence initiatives focused on increasing organizational efficiency and operating margin improvement.
- Implements transformative labor strategies to enhance overall workforce value. Provides extensive subject matter expertise and to executive leadership in implementing action plans and development of sustainment/control plans for solutions.
- Serves as expert for existing workforce management program, including the position management and control process. Develops labor benchmark standards and assessments for fixed and variable departments, identifies workforce improvement opportunities, fulfills labor budget responsibilities and partners with leaders on strategies to increase operational excellence.
- Acts as an internal consultant in support of increasing workforce value, operational excellence, and position control activities for high opportunity and/or critical departments.
- Serves as expert to executive leaders across the enterprise on the implementation of workforce strategies such as staffing to demand, operating model, labor benchmarks, key performance indicator (KPI) and voice of stakeholder (VoS) initiatives for clinical and non-clinical functions.
- Acts as utmost expert on resources and tools for productivity analysis and management system-wide to foster an environment of professional growth and development for operational leaders.
- Leads significant company-wide change through data and influence to align incentives and focus efforts on key opportunities for improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness in labor.
- Develops enterprise-wide staffing models for new or transforming service lines, utilizing national practices and benchmarks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Nursing, or a related field
- Seven years of experience
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.

This role will require travel within SSM's Market locations.
The ideal candidate will have some experience as a CNO, ACNO, or ADNO.
