      OPPORTUNITY
      The Executive Assistant has a critical role in supporting Green Dot’s mission to prepare students for college, leadership and life. This position will support a subset of the Chief Suite (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Program Officer and Chief of Staff). This position will also be the primary point of contact for and serve as the liaison to the education team for department members and Green Dot employees. The Executive Assist reports to the Chief of Staff. This position will entail frequent travel within the Los Angeles area (mileage will be reimbursed). This is a role serving as part of Green Dot California’s central office team, primarily based in Los Angeles.

      ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
      > Chief Officers Support: Manage the daily operations of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Programs Officer, and Chief of Staff including heavy scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence, and meeting coordination. Schedule and track meetings with high-level stakeholders, such as elected officials, donors, and key partners. Manage and/or complete special projects as requested.
      > Education Team Coordination: Serve as an integral part of the education team with daily tasks including heavy scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence, meeting coordination, catering, supply orders, expense reports, filing, mailings, phones, database and budget management, and written and oral (simultaneous and consecutive) translations.
      > Event Coordination: Coordinate meetings (50-200 people or more) and events on behalf of the Education Team, including event timeline management, vendor negotiations, and management, event response tracking, and attendee communication and travel.
      > Development Team Operations: Conduct critical Development Team operational support, including generating and mailing donor thank you notes and tax letters, maintaining accurate donor contact information and records in the CRM, and other administrative and operational tasks as assigned. This includes but is not limited to the following:
      > Donor and Donation Tracking:
      * Monitor incoming donations: Monitor payment gateways (e.g. Fundraise, Authorize.net, Paypal, Wells Fargo lockbox, Benevity, etc.)
      * Donation tracking: Record incoming donations from all sources and manage monthly donor reconciliation with Accounting.
      * Donor Stewardship: Generate and send “thank you” and/or donor acknowledgment letters. Ensure non-profit compliance by sending IRS donation receipts in a timely manner.
      * Campaign Management: Support the execution of campaign strategies as needed.
      > Data Management:
      * Enter constituent and fundraising data into Development CRM
      * Generate and distribute established fundraising data reports for staff to drive Development strategies.
      * Assist in documenting Salesforce processes and getting staff up to speed on changes and customizations.
      * Support monthly donor reconciliation with our finance records.
      * Conduct contact data entry in email marketing platform.
      > Vendors/Consultants: Support all purchasing, invoices, and contracts.
      > Home Office Coordination and Events: In collaboration with the Office Coordinator, ensure Home Office operations are maintained.
      > Support and Develop Office Coordinator: Oversee the Office Coordinator.
      > Other duties as assigned

      QUALIFICATIONS
      As an ideal candidate, you:

      > have a minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of administrative expertise
      > have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or an Associate’s degree, plus 5 years of work experience)
      > are bilingual/highly proficient in Spanish/English (both verbal and written communications)
      > have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with senior staff from a variety of organizations. Highly developed interpersonal skills, with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
      > are able to maintain positive relations with colleagues at all levels—including central office staff and school-site administrators and staff.
      > are able to simultaneously manage multiple projects, while maintaining a firm grasp of individual project details; meeting and/or exceeding project goals with the highest quality. High level of personal responsibility, a growth mindset, and an A+ work ethic.
      > are energetic and enthusiastic team player.
      > are extremely detail-oriented and organized, strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle deadline-oriented projects and shifting priorities
      > are proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
      > have experience coordinating large events
      > have a strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills
      > have dependable personal transportation
      > are dependable, humble, have a sense of humor and a rock-solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve
      > will need to pass a TB test and background check at time of offer

      COMPENSATION
      The starting salary range for this role is $71,000 - $77,000. To allow for salary progression over time, offers at the top of the range are rare. Individual education and experience will be considered when issuing offers. In addition, this position qualifies for a one-time $2,500 signing bonus, paid in two installments after months 6 and 12 of employment (subject to change).
