- CAD Drafter/Designer is responsible for producing carrier and cable industry OSP construction drawings which meet our customers’ expectations in preparation for installation.
- Designers may be required to gather information and produce permit drawings for specific projects, review drawings for accuracy, and revise and update drawings for approval by customers.
- CAD Designer may need to contact customers for more information on a project or check with teammates to ensure conformity to specifications.
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Load Data, Microstation, or ICGS
preferred but not mandatory - Drafting knowledge acquired through college, vocational, and technical school
training, resulting in an associate’s degree or equivalent. - Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with minimal guidance upon the
completion of the training program. - CAD Designer may need to use creativity and judgment due to frequently
changing conditions. Ability to adapt and use critical thinking skills. - CAD Drafter/Designer is responsible for producing carrier and cable industry OSP construction drawings which meet our customers’ expectations in preparation for installation.
