JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting customers in the exchange of US currency for cash, checks for cash, and tickets for cash.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
· Must have two years of coin/currency handling experience.
· Knowledge of 10-key and balancing.
· Must be able to communicate with the public in a clear, friendly manner, as well as be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer-literate. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to obtain a gaming license by Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Redeem VLT Tickets.
· Make change for guests.
· Process credit card cash advances.
· Process and cash personal checks via Global Cash Access System.
· Enter jackpots into ACSC.
· Payout jackpots to guests.
· Provide guests with Facility information re: promotions, events, restaurants, etc.
· Operate Keno terminal (Power Ball, Scratch Tickets, Keno).
· Responsible for maintaining your bank, equipment and work area.
· Comply with and be knowledgeable of all Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
· Maintain guest confidentiality.
· Balance bank/cash box daily.
· Maintain appropriate currency/coin inventory.
· Sign keys in/out.
· Provide optimum in guest service.
· Comply with Departmental Standards.
· Attend mandatory training classes and meetings.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
· Frequently standing and bending.
· Constantly required to remain focused.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Exposure to noise, smoke, dust.
· Constantly work in a fast-paced environment.
