- Answer telephone information calls from customers and provides information pertaining to schedules, routes, fares, special promotions, etc.u00A0 Preferred experience with TTD and may periodically assist Customer Service staff.
- Refer customers to proper departments.
- Responsible for schedule requests.
- Assume additional responsibilities as require d.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift Monday through Saturday, including some holidays.u00A0

M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
A high school diploma or equivalent ( GED ) .

Other :
1. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must have 3 yearsu2019 call center experience.
2. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must have good oral communication skills u2013 ability to project professional image through telephone interaction, good listening skills, knowledgeable of network of streets in Memphis.
3. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Computer skills desirable. u00A0 Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
4. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must be able to understand written and oral directions; ability to comprehend schedules and be able to learn the MATA route system within training period.
5. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must be willing to comply with MATAu2019s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
6. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Regular and consistent attendance is required.
7. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must always comply with safety and COVID protocols.

Environment :
1. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Extensive sitting is required while using office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, or fax machines.
2. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Most work will be performed in inside working conditions but should be able to tolerate changes
in building environment s such as with or without air conditioning or heating.
3. u00A0 u00A0u00A0 May be required occasionally to move up to 15 pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise repositioning objects.
4. u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 Able to express or exchange ideas with others accurately and at an easily audible volume through
the use of spoken words. Able to receive detailed information through oral communication or by phone at usual speaking levels and differentiate between sounds in the environment.
