What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Complete the Travel Consultant training and mentoring program, mastering necessary skills
- Handle client contacts and transactions with increasing complexity as skills progress
- Assess client needs and develop tailored travel plans based on their goals
- Educate clients on travel planning principles and provide technical support
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous client service experience; experience in a contact center environment preferred
- Solid digital literacy with common business tools, including internet, chat, and email
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss complex topics effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build consultative client relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the travel industry or a related field
- Familiarity with travel planning software or tools
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in French or other languages
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics in a client service role
