What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and make patient telephone calls, collect health data, and assess patient needs
- Provide medical advice within the scope of the role and according to protocols
- Identify emergent medical situations and assist patients in accessing appropriate care
- Schedule patient appointments and refill medications following protocols
- Document patient records accurately and enter orders into the electronic medical record
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree/graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing 2-year program
- Valid, unrestricted RN license in the State of Michigan
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical or physician office
- Proficiency in medical terminology and operating computer systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
