What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and analyze cancer incidence data
- Identify and analyze the history, diagnosis, treatment, disease status, and survival data of cancer patients
- Prepare and electronically submit required reporting information to the state cancer database
- Collect data for patient care evaluations, protocol studies, and audits
- Comply with all reporting requests and requirements
- Accurately abstract all required cancer-related information into the electronic tumor registry system
- Coordinate and maintain the long-term follow-up process of data collection for all tumor registry patients

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Three or more years of Cancer Registry Experience
- Three or more years of abstracting experience
- National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) - Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of electronic tumor registry systems
