      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Abstract specific patient information from various resources, including medical records, and input data into a database
      - Maintain and edit data for accuracy and completeness according to prescribed protocols
      - Manage record-keeping systems and procedures for clinical studies
      - Ensure compliance with standards for the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)
      - Report to the Supervisor of Cancer Registry regarding progress and issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
      - Completion of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology courses required
      - Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Cancer Registrar preferred
      - CTR certification or eligibility required
      - Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trials is required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of standards for the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) preferred
      - CTR certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire or transfer into the position
