      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Abstract specific patient information from various resources and code it into a database
      - Maintain and edit data for accuracy and completeness in clinical studies
      - Ensure compliance with prescribed protocols and record-keeping systems
      - Collaborate with the Supervisor of Cancer Registry to support cancer-related initiatives
      - Potentially work beyond normal hours as needed, ensuring operational needs are met

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
      - Completion of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology courses required
      - Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Cancer Registrar preferred
      - CTR certification or eligibility required, with certification to be obtained within 2 years of hire
      - Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trials is required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of standards for Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) preferred
