      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee daily operations within the seafood processing plant, ensuring quality standards and safety compliance
      - Manage production lines and optimize efficiency while coordinating with the Cannery Manager
      - Lead efforts in establishing production and quality standards, taking action to meet or exceed them
      - Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards, including OSHA regulations and food safety protocols
      - Direct and support the development and training of cannery staff to enhance productivity and employee relations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 7+ years of experience in seafood or food manufacturing management with progressive responsibility
      - 3-5 years of leadership experience in the seafood industry
      - Required experience in salmon and herring production
      - BS/BA degree preferred, with a focus on Management, Engineering, or Technical fields
      - Must own tools necessary to complete job requirements

      - Prior production and food safety training and certifications
      - Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
      - Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach
      - Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
      - Organizational skills with a focus on time management and goal setting
