      • The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

      Responsibilities

      Job Summary
      Full-time ECG Technician to perform remote monitoring of Implantable Cardiac Monitors (ICM), with interpretation of ECG, arrhythmia recognition, diagnostics, document patient symptoms, and reporting to an EP Provider. Must have knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology related to arrhythmias. Will be responsible for managing patient's data in manufacturer remote monitoring websites, analysis and management of transmission, entering in the electronic medical record (EMR), maintaining the data integrity with the system, patient teaching, promote patient compliance, documenting patient symptoms, and possess good clinical judgement.
      • Is knowledgeable in ECG analysis, ICM function and manufacturer’s website, inclusive of Medtronic, Abbott (St. Jude Medical), Biotronik, and Boston Scientific.
      • Patient education and compliance with symptom recording and timely transmissions.
      • Monitors alerts daily, and using clinical judgement, assesses risk, determines proper notification and follow-up based on established criteria.
      • Reports to Senior Cardiac Device Technician, or EP provider when interpretation is out of scope of expertise.
      • Evaluates incoming evaluations. Enters transmission data in EMR, enters appropriate charges, and creates reports for EP provider review.
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      Education
      High School Diploma or GED Required

      Experience
      1 year ECG Monitor Technician Required

      Licenses and Certifications
      Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
