What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Responsible for data collection and entry for database programs related to Cardiothoracic & Vascular Services
- Evaluate discrepancies and inaccuracies in data, making necessary edits and clarifications
- Coordinate the collection of relevant data elements throughout the patient's episode of care
- Participate in preparing and submitting data to national registries for benchmarking
- Assist in training users and troubleshooting data collection issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of a professional (RN) or practical (LPN) nursing school or other allied health program
- At least five (5) years of experience in a clinical and/or data collection environment
- Basic knowledge of PC applications
- Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements
- Must obtain and maintain CPR certification

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with data management and reporting in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data discrepancies
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and administration
