      A Day in the Life of a Sprinter Patient Care Coordinator


      Your day will begin by reviewing the patient schedule to ensure all next-day appointments have the necessary registration information and documentation. You will work closely with our health system and health plan counterparts to obtain any missing appointment information, provide appointment updates. As part of the visit review, you will validate provider contact information to ensure results can be shared back with the provider in a timely manner. You will review all appointments after completion and compile relevant medical records into a unified visit summary to be shared with providers. You will work closely with our clinical manager to review appointment progress. As different patient situations arise, you will escalate questions and concerns to Care Coordinators II.

      Skills and Requirements:
      • At least 2 years of previous experience working in a primary care setting / health care administrative environment.
      • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software
      • Experience coordinating with national labs such as Quest or Labcorp. This can include but not limited to requisition review, issue investigation, result tracking
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in appointment documentation and record-keeping
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between clinical and administrative teams
      • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
