      Schedule Days : Monday - Friday

      Pay Range: $69,460.00 - $118,770

      Job Summary:

      P lan, execute, and operationalize Learning & Development strategies. Special focus on the design and implementation of career development programs, including TCDP (Technician Career Development Process). Establishes end-to-end project plans and learning solutions. Manages project scope, schedule, and resources, to assure on-time project completion. Partners with the GM, Employee Experience to audit and improve training programs, processes and systems. Assists with instructor and curriculum development, facilitation and program delivery as needed.

      Essential Functions:

      • Partner with GM, Employee Experience and other stakeholders to analyze and assess learning needs, based on performance objectives, and needs assessment data.
      • Develop and maintain complex project plans, competency matricies, training plans, schedules, and documentation in support of TCDP (Technician Career Development Process) and other career development programs (Parts, Rental, Sales, Leadership, etc).
      • Develops comprehensive project plans that define project scope, deliverables, timeline, milestones, resources and accountabilities.
      • Uses the DACUM (Develop-a-Curriculum) process to conduct job task analysis, identify competencies, develop job descriptions, define curriculums, ILPs and career paths.
      • Actively seek and provide feedback. Build collaborative relationships that encourage stakeholder input, engagement, participation, and shared ownership of project success.
      • Maintains open communication to assure goal alignment and keep stakeholders informed.
      • Leads and monitors project resources. Manages all project phases (concept to close).
      • Works with leaders to develop systems that track and measure career development by unifying, documenting, and automating the ILP, Instructor-Led, On-the-Job Training, 1:1 Coaching, and Work Orders.
      • Partner with HR/Recruiting personnel to build substantive, long-term educational relationships and recruitment opportunities at local schools within all three major territories.
      • Perform reporting and data analysis for all training, especially TCDP.
      • Ensure that all new hires are being interviewed, assessed, and receiving ILP’s.
      • Create library of standard operating procedures that promote an efficient training operation and build accountability around Training Department standards.
      • Evaluates and modifies existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes.

      Additional Responsibilities:

      • Partner with GM, Employee Experience and other department leaders to develop custom training solutions when needed.
      • Create and occasionally train soft-skills courses, as needed.
      • Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.

      • Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

      Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

      • Demonstrated project management expertise with a keen attention to detail.
      • Demonstrated expertise in building learning plans linked to career paths.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to independently write grammatically correct routine business correspondence in a succinct, logical manner.
      • Superlative phone and customer service skills.
      • Expert level proficiency in company authorized software (including all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel).
      • Knowledge of instructional materials and A-D-D-I-E model of learning design.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and the general public.
      • Self-motivated and detail oriented; work with minimum supervision.
      • Work independently to identify potentially more effective methods of work operation.
      • Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate; adapt to frequent changes in workload.
      • Think through the consequences and impact of a decision before making it.

      Education and Experience:

      • BS/BA in HR, Training, Education, Organizational Development, IT, or equivalent experience in any of those fields
      • Experience working in heavy equipment, industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience with course design and delivery preferred.
      • Familiarity with technical training programs highly preferred.
      • Previous experience in delivering exceptional customer service required.
