- Maintaining bench tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Following all safety procedures and using PPE as provided.
- Installation of finished product on site.
- Cleaning and organizing bench; helping clean and organize shop as assigned.
- Loading/unloading of finished product.
- Reporting unsafe or broken tools, equipment, and other hazards.
- Other duties as assigned by Shop Foreman or Production Manager.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Custom Fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and translate shop drawings.
- Knowledgeable of proper use of wood shop tools and equipment.
- Knowledgeable of general shop safety and PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Custom woodworking.
- Millwork.
- Plastic laminate.
- Cabinetry fabrication and installation.
- Clean driving record.
- Preferred: Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Vehicle, Current Co-Insurance.
- Preferred: OSHA 10.
- Preferred: DOT Medical Card.

Job Description
Perform carpentry tasks to construct interactive displays, build, finish, and/or repair pieces from assigned shop drawings. You will be working in a large shop to create custom designs based on blueprints.

Work Environment
Work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with evenings or weekends as needed. Work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, power tools, and paint. Periodic travel required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
