Job Description
- Req#: JP-005192051
- Perform framing (metal stud or wood)
- Conduct trim work, including crown molding, baseboards, and chair rail installations
- Install wall fixtures and doors
- Tile installation
- Install cabinets and safety handrails
- Complete punch list work
- At least three (3) years of carpentry experience
- Ability to understand blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance
- Proficiency in arithmetic and basic geometry, and their applications to carpentry
- Understanding of basic building layout and leveling
- Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergencies, and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers

Carpentry Technicians will be performing a variety of tasks such as upfits of commercial office and warehouse spaces, integrating new structures with existing structures, and repairing and replacing ceilings, flooring, and drywall.

Candidates will be working in a commercial construction environment performing general labor tasks, ranging from site cleanup to material running.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
